global aphasia,

poor language use in fluency, comprehension and repetition (Nolte,2002)

A result of damage to the specific area of the brain that takes over the functioning of language understanding and production. It usually happens in post-stroke with Right hemisphere.

I was doing my case study, and this is one symptom shown in my case.

We rarely address language impairments when I was in Taiwan, cause we have professional speech-language pathologists take over. However, we do have to understand what that is.

Anyway...it's hard to address such language issues in my case even it is a general presents in right hemi stroke patients. So I looked up some articles from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and Augmentative and Alternative Communication-Rehabilitation Engineering Research Centers (AAC-RERC). I have to say, they are fantastic!

Anyway..................s.

I just want to mention how I feel when I imaged I am a globla aphasic person.

That would be a totally different world from what I'm living in. It will be a world that you ALMOST feel you are alone, cause you don't understand what people are trying to communicate with you either in verbal or written ways(without body languages), and people don't understand what you try to say. This is so much like I'm deaf and  mute.

What would you react if you are deaf and mute.
